Looking for the best batteries? Falcon Batteries is the maker of the Predator line of Lithium Packs
Team 3DF Pilots use Predator packs for power in competitions and also every day flying. They are the best quality pack on the market. Hand made, matched, vented, with high quality silicon wrapped leads. Available in the following packs:

“C” Rating- (C = mAh / 1000) the maximum charge or discharge rate of the cell. A 1000 mah pack rated at “10C” could provide a 10 amp discharge. All packs should be charged at “1C”(1000mah pack should charge at 1000 mah max. That means a 1 hour charge time.

3s1p-The 3s stands for 3 cells in series, each producing 3.7 volts. This makes the pack total output 11.1 volts. The 1p stands for 1 parralel pack, or 1 pack. A 3s2p would be 3 cells in each pack, but 2 packs wired in parallel . This allows for higher discharge rates and longer run times. When you parallel battery packs you increase the total capacity of the pack, not the voltage. So the output is still 11.1 volts. A simple "Y" harness can be made to allow running 2 packs in parallel. Caution must be exercised when linking packs. See rules below.

LiPo Safety Rules!

. Do NOT charge Lithium-Polymer batteries in excess of 1C

Do NOT discharge Lithium-Polymer batteries in excess of maximum "C" recommendation listed above.

Do NOT add additional cells to your pre-built packs unless battery voltage is within .01V per cell.

Do NOT parallel partially charged packs together with fully charged packs.

Do NOT puncture or misform your packs.

Doing any of the above WILL damage your Lithium-Polymer batteries.

FIRE WARNING: If your battery balloons in size, is punctured or is misformed, take precautions to get the battery to a non-flammable area for at least one hour IN CASE OF FIRE. After several hours place the battery in salt water.

We advise against the use of the MRC Superbrain charger.  It does not detect the state of charge of your Li-Polys.  Putting to much charge in your Li-Polys WILL cause a fire.
